My name is Phil Caron, I am a 24 year old Canadian Professional Ice Hockey Player, Mentor, Coach and Certified Personal Trainer. I am a highly motivated, driven and positive individual that will do anything I set my mind to. I have been into fitness for 9+ years now, experiencing and learning many different ways to improve myself on and off the ice.
I have been working with athletes for the last 7 years. I've been a great mentor for them as I teach them ways to improve themselves in their sport but also as a person. I like to train my clients with a holistic approach therefore I am working on developing every aspect of the athlete’s game.
I am mature and responsible as I have been living away from home since 2015. I proved many wrong and made the OHL with the Soo Greyhounds as an undrafted, free agent, something that is very challenging and takes lots of work and adversity to push through.
Helping younger athletes that are in the position that I once was as a young player definitely is a big part of me and is very impactful in my life. Being a positive role model for my athletes is something I am passionate about and love doing. I am great at bringing out the best in people and pushing them in a positive manner to give it their all. I am confident in myself and my knowledge, that I know how to properly execute exercises and teach others the proper etiquette of training in a safe manner. I express positive energy, work ethic, constructive criticism and experience in the field of athletic training. I take pride in my work and becoming a better person / athlete every day.
In early 2022, I have joined Top Speed Hockey as a coach and scout. In which I can further help hockey players develop their game and get to the next level. I am thrilled to be sharing my hockey experience and knowledge with players in game situations. As I continue to strive towards my goals, It is exciting for me to be giving others the opportunity to do the same.
